With just over twenty employees, Exact Modus is the largest wood industry information technology business in Eastern Canada. Our team is a blend of specialists in the fields related to our mission: computer analysts and programmers, technicians, environment specialists, forest engineers; backed by competent and devoted sales and administration personnel; led by experienced managers who understand the wood industry inside-out and know how information technology can be used to serve the industry. We share the same values of responsibility, commitment, competence, service, innovation and quality. And, on top of that, we enjoy working together for you!

 
Marc Drouin, President Chief Executive Officer
Marc Drouin handles the roles of president and chief executive officer. He founded the Forest Division of Gespro in 1986. He now has over 20 years of experience in information technology as it applies to the wood industry. He is well aware of the issues and challenges that the industry faces and orients the development of Exact Modus according to these needs. 
 

 

Pierre Drolet, Vice-President, Business Development and Sales
Recruited at Gespro in 1996, Pierre Drolet has 25 years of experience in the field of technologies and management. He worked in the industrial sector and the forest industry for almost 15 years before joining the Exact Modus management team. His experience and expertise are solid assets for the development of the business.

 

Eric Bégin, Applications Specialist
A forest engineer, Eric Bégin has a master's degree in silviculture. Before joining Gespro in 1998, he worked as a forest engineer in the British Columbia forest industry. At Exact Modus, he specializes in applications for products destined for the sawmills and second transformation.

 

Paul O'Dowd, Application Specialist
Before joining Exact Modus in 1998, Paul O'Dowd, forest engineer, worked in the forest industry for nine years with Donohue Forest Products, where he held various positions. As an application specialist for products dedicated to forest operations, he installas applications and provides training on them, proposes solution to new needs and provides support at the functional level.
